You are in the heart of Art Nouveau district of Brussels. A very trendy, hipster area, packed with good restaurants, organic markets and grocery stores, and cool bars. Also note that one of the coolest Street Markets of Brussels just half a block away. If you happen to be here on Monday, make sure to grab a glass of wine/beer and some traditional food there. Excellent quality food coming from local farmers.

For breakfast, you can either have it in the house, or simply enjoy the many cafes around the corner. Note that you are in a narrow lovely street next to the Hotel de Ville de Saint Gilles and its many bar options. If you are a fan of beer, you're in luck! You are just next to a beer bar offering a selection of 300 Belgium beers and Belgium cheeses. Are you more into organic food? Just steps from the apartment you have a 2-menu offering (one vegetarian and one with meat), yet very affordable. If you prefer wine over beer, no problem, next to the Bio restaurant, there is a Wine Bar, which draws a very cool crowd. Are you more into fine dining, you can choose between 2 renamed restaurants just a few blocks away. Did we mention that the best Pizza place in town is only 3 blocks away? (Italian owned, obviously). Or maybe you are a sporty soul and just prefer to grab a bite at home and then go for a run, right, do it, only 2 blocks on the other direction you are at one of biggest parks in town, half park, half forest...you will love it, it's safe and it couldn’t get any greener.
